What is epoxy flooring?

Epoxy flooring is a coating of resin and a hardener applied over concrete that cures into a smooth, durable, waterproof surface. It resists stains and can be made slip-resistant, and some systems are UV-resistant and antimicrobial. It works in garages, homes, pool decks, restaurants, retail, offices, showrooms, warehouses and more.

What is the difference between metallic, flake and solid-color epoxy?

Metallic epoxy has a liquid, marble-like look with depth and movement; flake floors have decorative chips broadcast into the coating for texture and grip; solid color is a clean, single-color finish. All three are seamless. Flake is the most forgiving for garages and outdoor spaces, and metallic is the most decorative.

What is polyaspartic flooring?

Polyaspartic is a fast-curing protective coating, often used as a topcoat, that sets within several hours. It is used in high-traffic areas such as garages, patios, pool decks, kitchens, restaurants, warehouses, gyms, showrooms, marinas and hangars.

How long does epoxy floor installation take?

Most installations take three to four days, depending on the size of the space. Polyaspartic coatings set within several hours, which helps businesses minimize downtime and lets homeowners use their floors sooner.

How do you prepare the concrete before coating?

We repair cracks, pits, gouges and spalling, shot blast or grind the concrete if needed to level it and remove old coatings, and finish by cleaning and vacuuming. Professional prep is what makes the coating bond and last.

Is epoxy flooring slippery?

A cured epoxy floor keeps good traction, and for wet areas we add an anti-slip additive to the top coat for a textured, sandpaper-like finish. We have installed non-slip floors around swimming pools, in bathrooms and in commercial kitchens.

Is epoxy flooring safe for pets and children?

Yes, once cured. We use low-VOC resins compliant with indoor air quality standards. Keep pets off the floor during the curing process, which takes 24 to 72 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Once cured, the floor is non-toxic and odor-free.

Can epoxy be used outdoors or on a pool deck?

Yes. We offer UV-resistant, waterproof coatings for patios, driveways and pool decks that resist sun, weathering and pool chemicals.

Can epoxy go in a bathroom or kitchen?

Yes. We offer waterproof and water-resistant flooring options that work well in bathrooms and kitchens.

How long does an epoxy floor last?

A properly prepped, professionally installed and maintained epoxy floor lasts longer than most flooring options. It typically lasts 15+ years with proper care, including a fresh topcoat every 5–7 years. Heavy industrial use with constant forklift traffic or harsh chemicals wears floors faster, so we match the system to the space.

How do I clean and maintain an epoxy floor?

Sweep and mop with detergent and water; no sanding, buffing or polishing. Because the surface is waterproof, grime can be squeegeed to a drain, and areas exposed to chemicals can be pressure washed. A fresh topcoat every 5–7 years keeps it looking new.

Is epoxy a good choice for warehouses and commercial spaces?

Yes. Our industrial-grade systems handle heavy machinery, forklifts and pallets, resist chemicals, and are designed for high-traffic environments, with safety colors and markings available.

Can you put a logo in the floor?

Yes. We build company logos into floors, and our Signature Sports Collection puts NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL-inspired designs into flake or metallic floors. Logos are provided or approved by the customer.

Do you install floors on boats?

Yes. We install interior and exterior epoxy flooring for yachts and custom boats: slip-resistant, saltwater-resistant systems.

How much does an epoxy floor cost?

Every project is quoted after we see the space, and estimates are free. Price depends on square footage, the condition of the concrete and the system you choose. Send the project type, approximate square footage and a photo through our estimate form and we will get back to you.

What warranty do you offer?

Every floor is backed by our warranty. Coverage depends on the system (metallic, flake, solid color or outdoor), so ask us about coverage for your floor when we quote your project.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Hollywood, Florida and serve South Florida, including Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.
