Color charts

Every flake and solid color, on one page.

The blends we install, with the code you can quote back to us when you call.

A flake epoxy floor gets its color from vinyl chips broadcast into the wet base coat, so the color you pick is a blend of several chip colors rather than a single paint code. 2020 Imagination Flooring installs five flake collections (residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and outdoor UV), plus stone-look blends and solid colors. The charts on this page are the blends we install, with the codes we quote them by. Metallic epoxy is the exception: those colors are worked into the coating by hand, so they are chosen in person rather than picked from a chart.

How to pick from a chart

A swatch is a close-up of the chip blend, so it shows the mix rather than the finished floor. Two things change how a blend reads once it is on your slab: the size of the space, and the light. A dark blend in a 200 square foot garage reads much darker than the same blend in a warehouse. That is why we keep the charts on hand at the estimate.

  • Bring the room, not just the chart. Light from a garage door or a sliding door changes gray considerably.
  • Bigger chips read bolder. Smaller chips read softer and hide dust better.
  • The topcoat shifts the final color too. A high-gloss finish deepens a blend; a matte finish softens it.
  • If you have a paint color, a logo or a team to match, we can work from it rather than from a chart.

Solid color

Solid colors and safety colors

Solid-color epoxy is one flat, even coat with no chips: the finish for shops, back-of-house areas, and anywhere a safety color has to mean something. These are the standard colors, and the safety set is what gets used to mark walkways, bays and equipment zones.

Questions people ask about colors

Can I see the charts in person?

Yes. Ask to see the flake, stone-look and solid chart during your estimate. Seeing a blend in your own garage, under your own lighting, is the only way to judge it honestly.

Will the finished floor look exactly like the swatch?

Close, but not identical. A swatch is a tight close-up of the chip mix, and a finished floor spreads that mix across a whole room, so it reads lighter and calmer once installed. Flake is broadcast by hand, so density varies slightly from floor to floor.

Can you order a blend that is not listed here?

Ask. The two library sheets on this page cover a much wider range than the collections above, and we can price a blend we do not stock.

Can you match a team, school or brand color?

Yes. Our Signature Sports Collection builds team, school and organization colors and logos into a flake or metallic floor. Logos are supplied or approved by the customer, and are used for custom decorative purposes only.

What is the difference between a flake chart and a solid color chart?

A flake blend is a mix of several chip colors scattered through the floor, so it hides dust and marks well. A solid color is one flat, even tone with no chips, so it shows scuffs more but reads cleaner and is easier to touch in.

Picked a color?

Send us the name and the code from the chart, or just a screenshot of the one you like. We will confirm the blend, talk through the topcoat and get you a free estimate.
